How Do I Get Started?

Getting started with Staying In Place is simple:

  1. Contact Us

  2. Home Visit
    When you’re ready, we’ll come for a free home consultation. During this visit, we’ll:
    - Meet with you and any friends or family involved in your care
    - Ask about your needs and goals
    - Answer your questions   

  3. Personalized Care Plan
    Based on our conversation, we’ll create a care plan tailored to your needs and preferences.

  4. Schedule
    When you’re ready, we’ll finalize the schedule and agree on a start date. Shifts can be as short as four hours. 

Are your team members trustworthy?

Absolutely. We take great care to hire and retain the best caregivers possible. Every team member undergoes a rigorous screening and hiring process, which includes:
    - A national background check
    - Driving record check
    - Drug screening

We prioritize trust, reliability, and professionalism to ensure our clients feel safe and comfortable.

Are your caregivers insured?

Yes, all of our caregivers are bonded, insured, and covered by professional liability and workers' compensation insurance for your peace of mind.

Do you help people with dementia or Alzheimer’s?

Yes, we regularly assist individuals with Alzheimer’s or other types of dementia

Do you provide hospice care?

While we do not provide hospice care ourselves, we DO provide hospice support care. We are honored to help individuals and families navigate this stage with comfort and dignity.

Many of our caregivers have experience supporting clients in hospice and understand the unique needs that come with end-of-life care. Whether it’s helping with personal care, preparing meals, or simply being present, we strive to provide compassionate, non-medical assistance that complements hospice services.

If your loved one is receiving hospice care and you need additional support, we’d be happy to discuss how we can help.

Do you accept medical insurance?

No, our services are not covered by medical insurance, including Medicare. You may be able to submit to Long Term Care insurance for reimbursement.
